EPL Learning Center is a non-sectarian Christian institution. We believe that every person is a child of God and therefore value formations and character building are incorporated in everyday curriculum basically rooted on Biblical principles. We are committed in developing God-fearing, God-loving, faithful and self-reliant individuals as early as preschool level.
The school provides early childhood holistic development programs focusing on each child's academic, social, emotional and functional needs.
We also believe that each child is unique and learn in his/her own pacing. We understand each individual's strengths and weaknesses and therefore capitalize and focus more on areas that needs improvement while continuously enhancing their individual talents and skills.
EPL Learning Center adapts the "Developmentally Appropriate Practice" (DAP) and the "Progressive" teaching methodologies.
DAP is based on theories espoused by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) in Washington D.C. This system understands the needs of the individual child as well as the needs of the group where the child belongs. Our teaching approaches are thematic, creative, integrated and interactive. Child participation and responses are encouraged. Play is considered as one of the most important learning tool.
Progressive approach is based on John Dewey's thought on experiential learning. This is a hands-on training where children are allowed to explore their potentials through creativity and innovativeness.
Basic and foundational academic subjects include, Reading, Writing, Math, Science, Music, Arts and Crafts and Basic IT concepts. We adapt an integrated and thematic teaching strategies.
EPL Learning Center uses the most modern teaching tools and materials and updated teaching techniques and strategies.
